The Listening Books charity currently has free membership for adults and children living in Birmingham, thanks to the support of a a charitable trust.
Listening Books is a charity that runs an audiobook library service for around 20,000 members across the UK. Membership is not only open to people with visual impairments and physical disabilities but also to those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia who find it difficult to process the written word.
Listening Books has a huge library of over 7,000 titles including fiction and non-fiction for both adults and children. Their catalogue covers a range of genres including crime, classics, historical novels, travel and biographies and they also stock titles to support people who are studying.
